History
1994 - Opened our unique shop with the motto to treat our customers as we would wish to be treated, Friendly and Honestly.
1998 - Moved onto the web with 'The Eclectic Shop' featuring Fenton Art Glass and many other fine collectibles.
2000 - We moved from our original 800 sq. ft. store into a store of 3500 sq. ft.
2004 - We expanded by knocking down a section of wall resulting in an additional 2000 sq. ft. dedicated to Christmas. The Christmas room showcases over 20 Christmas trees with thousands of ornaments. Plus many fine Christmas collectibles.
2008 - Down sizing to allow us to retire and to travel. The store is being reduced to 2000 square feet with approximately 1700 square feet being display area. Susan has become a full time employee who will run the store when Betty and I are traveling.
2008 - Also set up a new web site: EclecticShop.US This site with new software allows us to close down the site when we are traveling. The greatest demand on the site is during Christmas and we plan to be up and running during the Christmas Season.

Security and Privacy
When you place an order at The Eclectic Shop, you can be assured that the payment information you are providing will only be viewed by those with the proper authorization. This is possible through the use of Secure Socket Layers, or SSL.
Your order and payment information is transmitted on a secure ‘layer’, shown by the letters “https” at the beginning of the web site URL when you arrive at the ordering page. The use of SSL will scramble (encrypt) the information sent from your computer to our server. When we retrieve your order, we have the authority to de-scramble (decrypt) your order and payment information. Online shopping is convenient, easy, enjoyable and secure.
In addition, our store policy is:
1. To protect all information entrusted to us on your order form.
2. We do not and will not sell, give, and/or barter our mailing list or customer information.

Order Information
TO PLACE AN ORDER: Order on line using our QuikStore Shopping Cart or call us toll free at 1-877-732-0178 (Local 804-526-9165) during regular store hours. Monday thru Saturday, 10AM - 6PM.
We accept Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express (Contact us if you are sending a check or money order). Orders of $60 or more are insured and shipped free [Items ordered must be in stock.] with in the continental US by UPS or USPS to one address. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped USPS.
Note: If "Preorder Now or Reserve Now" items are part of your order, the order will be held until these items become available.
FREE SHIPPING: each order must be for $60 or more to a single address.
Orders for less than $60 are shipped for $7.00.
If you are a Virginia resident we must collect 5% sales tax.
Most items ordered Monday through Friday prior to 2PM EST are shipped the same day
SPECIAL ORDER: Item is not stocked by the Eclectic Shop but we will order for you. You will be contacted by e-mail or phone and informed of time required to order and ship to you. Your credit card is not charged until shipment is made.
PREORDER NOW or RESERVE NOW: Item is new and in production but the shop has not received stock. Or the item is not part of our inventory and we will place an order based on your order. We will ship as soon as stock arrives. Your credit card is not charged until shipment is made.
NEW: Our new site, EclecticShop.com, supports Login by Username and Password. You are not required to login to order. But if you want the site to retain your ordering information and ordering history then create a Username and Password when you order. The next time you order you would login and your ordering information would be displayed. Also, on the Navigation Bar there is a button call My Account, by clicking on My Account you can change your Username and Password, Change Address Information, and review your Order History. All of this information is maintained as encrypted data on a secure server.

Return Policy
A copy of this policy is placed in each order.
PRIOR TO SHIPPING AN ITEM BACK, the Eclectic Shop must be notified within three working days of delivery for return instructions. Contact the Eclectic Shop by telephone using the toll free number 1-877-732-0178 or by e-mail at info@EclecticShop.com
If a piece(s) is damaged in shipment, retain all packing material for the claim inspector, plus the damaged item(s). Contact the Eclectic Shop by telephone using the toll free number 1-877-732-0178 or by e-mail at info@EclecticShop.com
Failure to return item(s) in the original gift box with labels and tags intact and attached as shipped will result in a 25% restock fee.
All “Special Order” and “Clearance” item(s) returned also will result in a 25% restock fee unless the Eclectic Shop determines the piece to be defective from the manufacturer. Mold marks in glass are not considered to be a defect by the manufacturer.
Item(s) returned for refund or returned for exchange are returned at the expense of the customer to include insurance. Customer failure to insure will be the customer loss, if the item(s) is damaged in shipment.
Most items that the Eclectic Shop ship are collectible. As a collector you expect to receive a collectible in its original box, with tags and labels attached. When we have a customer who destroys the box or removes the tags/labels we cannot sell the item without a discount.
A copy of this policy is placed in each shipment.
